I was so excited to hear about the May Arts Design Team Call!!! I sent them a proposal, which they accepted… They sent me the ribbons that I requested, and I finished the project and tutorial… I’ve posted it here on my blog too… Check out my project HERE, and wish me luck!!
Made for Monday!
Lots to share with you today :) We had our 3 day “Spring Fling” crop this weekend, and after 3 days, I *SHOULD* have lots to share… Although, most of what I worked on was the sorting of the HUGE bag of pictures that really just needed to be sorted… They are all now neatly packed into little plastic cases, and labeled so that I can find the photos I need!! Yeah!! It was a HUGE job, but man am I glad it’s done!!!
Here’s what else I did this weekend… The pics aren’t super, I will get better ones this afternoon I hope… It was so windy, that I did take them outside, but had to chase the layouts TWICE across half the yard ’cause the wind was blowing so hard… So, they’re just quick inside pics…
A two page layout, I actually cut and kitted this one for our Friday evening croppers :) I added the photos and date… The patterned papers are Cosmo Cricket, the QuicKutz font is Strawberry
This two page layout uses Little Yellow Bicycle patterned papers (which were hard to photograph inside ’cause they’re kinda shiny). The QuicKutz font is from Santa’s Workshop
This is a one page layout using Creative Imaginations paper, QuicKutz fonts are Heidi Swapp alphabet and Paper Doll
I forgot to take pictures, but there’s a set of 7 cards that were for Sunday’s croppers…
This adorable birdhouse… Made with Creative Memories papers and May Arts Ribbons (it’s for the May Arts Design Team Call…) More details will follow…
Oh, and I almost forgot… This frame, also Creative Memories and May Arts…
Whew!!! What a weekend!!! We also took the kids rollerskating on Saturday, and Kathryn to a friend’s birthday party on Sunday… I think I need a vacation to rest up from this past weekend!!!
Made for Monday
This week’s installment of “Made for Monday” is a sneak peek of April’s Zutter Class at Ink About It in Westford!! The class is on Thursday, April 14th, and we’ll be making this fun 6×6 album using Basic Grey’s “Life of the Party” line… LOVE the fun patterned papers!! The pages have pockets and pull-out tags (from the top)… Call the store if you are interested in signing up for the class! The whole book will be completed in class, and you’ll just have to add photos when you’re done!!! Here’s the cover… (ummm… yeah, that’s my newest QuicKutz… The Heidi Swapp
Made for Monday!
I do *most* of my crafting crafting on the weekend… So, I figured that Monday would be a good day to share those creations! I’m very excited about this new project!! It’s the monthly Zutter Club project at Ink About It in Westford, and I’m teaching it this Thursday… Give the store a call to see if there’s still space in the class!!
The book is 6×12, and opens in the middle… I used the BEAUTIFUL new Twig line from Little Yellow Bicycle… LOVE the blues and greens… the leaf pin, inside embellishments are all LYB, the owires are Zutter (my favorite antique silver color). I also used some book pages (if I haven’t yet mentioned my love for all things “Used Book Superstore” now is a good time….)
Anyway… Here’s the cover… pictures don’t do it justice!!! It opens to the right of center, and all the inside pages open the same way, but they alternate left and right!
Just look at those little birdies!!! Oh, So Cute!! I hope you’ll join me on Thursday!!
Winter Wonderland Class/Book
I’m thrilled to be teaching this super fun book using Zutter Cover-Alls tomorrow (Sunday) at The Crop Shop’s Winter Wonderland Event!!! There’s still space if you’re interested!!! Check out these BEAUTIFUL and glittery Best Creations papers… and of course, the Zutter…
Here’s the front cover
