My friend Katy came to me with an idea that she wanted to do for her day care providers… She wanted to give them a few small gift cards, kind of representing a "day out" so starting with a Starbucks card, then maybe the book store, then maybe Target or something like that… She figured she'd come up with 4 cards… and she asked if I could find a way to package them :) Here's what I came up with… Each mini-book has 4 "pockets" to hold the gift cards, a little tag to write the amount on, and a little space to write something clever :)

Both use the Zutter BIA, the Zutter 4×4 acrylic covers… Zutter OWires and the pink Zutter corner rounder. The first uses American Crafts papers, and some of my favorite Quickutz, the snowman from the "SnowDay" gift set, Maggie alphabet, circle tag, 12inch scallop border.  The second uses My Mind's Eye papers and cut-outs, along with the scallop border and circle tag… You can see more Zutter designs at the Zutter Zister's Website

For this book, I used the colored and scalloped paper bags by Creative Imaginations, and of course the super-fun American Crafts Christmas line… The QuicKutz fonts are Bright (from Merry and Bright) and Uptown Girl. I also used my big old red Sizzix machine and snowflake die to make the felt snowflakes (with some stickles and a silver brad). All bound together with my Zutter BIA and some pretty Bazzill and American Crafts ribbon!!
