Well… most likely, it has us!! We think it’s an Eastern Screech Owl… He’s living in the tree in our front yard (about 15 feet from our front door…)
As promised… The next notebook!
I couldn’t leave out DS when I was creating journals!! So here’s his… I used a Rusty Pickle blank journal, FABULOUS Kaiser papers, a Maya Road chipboard arrow, a cool little acrylic arrow, and some fun ribbons. I used circles cut out of the paper for tabs, and my new Exotic Island QK alphabet for his name :)
Altered Notebook {My Little Shoebox}
I created this little notebook for my DD… She loves to draw and color, and I knew that a frilly pink notebook would make her very happy!!! I used a Rusty Pickle plain journal, a Maya Road scallop tag, some clear acrylic flowers, Bazzill Bling Brads, Core’Dinations cardstock, and the beautiful My Little Shoebox papers and their white transparency words and swirl. Her name on the inside is done with QK Uptown Girl and I used the QK nesting flowers to create tabs in the notebook. She just LOVES it!!! I made one for Sean also :) check back tomorrow!
My Little Shoebox
The LSS just got this in, and how much do I LOVE it??? I used a pic of me and Kathryn one afternoon waiting for Sean’s bus… I used FAB My Little Shoebox paper (I cut out additional butterflies, and put them on top so that they are 3 dimensional) I also used a bit of Bazzill, cats eye ink, a Maya Road chipboard word (covered with MLS paper and inked), and some Kaiser pearls. Here’s a peek at the layout
Fun new card!
I created this fun card for Card Club last month… The FAB patterned paper is DCWV, and has some shimmery and glittery areas, just FUN! I also used some Bazzill cardstock, paper flowers and bling brad, craft store gems, that super Stampin’ Up “happiness” stamp, and my cats eye inks (pink on the edge and chestnut roan on everything else!)
Last weekend I created 2 Mothers’ Day projects… But I can’t post them yet :) I want them to be a surprise!! I just love them, and may have to make one for myself too :) I can’t wait to share them!
