Yippee!! and Hmmmmm….
I was so excited!!! Today we went and picked up 2 (yes, TWO) Digi Rebel’s DH "needed" them for something that he’s doing with the historical society, they are what are needed for some kind of contraption that is run by the computer, and will photograph sensitive historical documents that can’t be put on a flatbed scanner (old town record books etc…..) Now, mind you, we have a Nikon D70, which I LOVE, but thought it was too heavy and big for every day… Anyway, in most digi scrapping circles, the digi Rebel is "THE" camera….. We charged the battery…. and all I have to say is hmmmmmmmm…. It is MUCH lighter, but honestly compared to the D70, it feels kinda cheezy…. And the lens that came with it, I am seriously LESS than impressed. The 10.1 megapixels is super cool, and it is much lighter than the D70… maybe I just need to play with it more :) Probably!!!! We went apple picking today, I wish that we could have brought it with us (but we picked them up on the way to apple-picking, so they weren’t charged…..)
This Week’s Challenge

Well Darn it!
*sigh* NOT on the Master’s top 20 list…. I was so hoping that they would post the top 50 (like they have done every other year)…. I absolutely did not think I would win, but I was hoping that I might make the 30 homorable mentions, or finalists, or whatever they called it…. Oh well… I can believe that I was (’cause there’s no proof that I wasn’t!!!!!) I still LOVE my entry, and wouldn’t change a thing…. I hope that a couple of them get picked up for something ’cause I really love them!!! So many calls lately are requesting never-posted-online that I’m gonna save them and not post them for a while…. but I’m gonna send them to every call that comes up :) Off to check calls now and see if they fit anything……
