And a little Christmas Surprise for you… HERE’s the link for the Glitter Elements I just wanted to note… This little glitter surprise was going to be my gift for the SBE newsletter for December… But I decided to create a paper pack for that (you should check it out… it’s FAB :) ). OK… I have to preface this by saying that I actually love football… I love to watch the games… maybe it comes from marching band ’cause that’s what we do :) But I really do love football… BUT I have to tell this story ’cause I think it’s soooooo incredible to me that an adult, who supposedly has the best interest of the children that he teaches in mind, could actually say something so incredibly stupid…

During the Big Thanksgiving Game, during halftime, I was standing in the end-zone with our band watching the other band perform.  The other team came out of the locker room, and were standing directly behind us waiting for their band to finish their show… their coach was talking to them, and here’s what I overheard him say (it didn’t take much to overhear as he was QUITE loud!!).

"The next 20 minutes will define the REST of your lives."

OMG… Seriously??? If 20 minutes of ANY game you ever play are what define your life, then you live a sad and pathetic life indeed.

Rant over…

Well, I’m one of the people who got the 2nd round emails!!! I’m so excited… I know that lots of very talented ladies also got the "call back" but… at least they want to see more :)  SO Here’s what I sent them… 3 brand new layouts, created with primarily DaisyD’s product, and a tag book that I like to call the "faces" of time… showing the clock faces of our antique clock collection!!!  Now it’s just time to sit back and hope that it’s what they were looking for :)
