I've decided to put a few things up on Etsy.com (kinda like ebay for handcrafted things) I have a couple of paper craft kits listed (there will be more very soon), and today I finished and just listed my first Crochet Afghan for sale :) I've been crocheting for longer than I've been paper crafting, and I'm in baby-blanket mode lately!! I've been crocheting for several upcoming family and friend babies, but made this one just because :) You can see the listing and all the details here:
Family Project
Here's a new project… For my Zutter Club ladies… If you want to be surprised at the next Zutter club, stop reading now :) I used coasters, of course my Zutter Bind it All :) Cosmo Cricket patterned paper, the new-ish QuicKutz Katie Cookie Cutter alpha and a few other little doo-dads… There's also patterned paper on the back side, so you can keep it on your desk or wherever you want :) Photos are from our trip last summer to Washington DC… At the National Zoo :)
Happy Valentine’s Day!
Here's a few little things I made for Valentine's Day… I used scraps for the tags (My Mind's Eye patterned papers) These 2 little bags with the handmade tags were for the kids :)
For Kathryn:
For Sean:
For Mike, I used this card (That I made a while ago for a challenge) and decorated the envelope with some extra diecuts from the kids' bags…
Then one more little tag that I made just because I had extra pieces :)
I also made all the kids' valentines for school… but they took them to school before I could take a pic of them… I used the same Sizzix scallop tag, and the patterned papers, plus some glitter paper hearts attached to Valentine pencils :)
Another Happy Birthday!
But this little set was for my munchkin, who's now 6 !!! She wanted a "pretty birthday frame" I had an alterable frame in the drawer, so I picked a few papers and dimensional stickers, and I made a matching card, envelope and gift bag… Can't wait to put her birthday pic in the frame… She just loved it!
Happy Birthday Baby!!
Well… At some point I'm going to have to admit she's no longer a baby… but I'm not ready!! Here's a few pics from Kathryn's big 6th birthday, it was a simple day of lunch at the Rainforest Cafe followed by Build-a-Bear (a birthday tradition, she's decided!)
All dressed up and ready to go… Black eye (from phys ed class at school) and all :)
All that glitters… Gotta love glittered headbands and pretty dresses!
OMG… Chixos…
Getting a few pointers from her big brother about her new DS game…
and the ICarly Build-a-Bear… Took Sean 2 minutes to pick his bear and outfit… Kathryn on the other hand, had to check out EVERY bear, and outfit… twice :) before we decided on Carly :)
Happy Birthday Baby!!
