I thought it might be fun to show off a little bit of where I knit! This week’s scarf is Taupe and it was mostly knit at Gymnastics! You can also see my fun new custom made knitting needles! I wanted something just the right size for the scarf (I get annoyed when the ends of the needles catch in my sleeves), so I contacted Indian Lake Artisans, and they made these wonderful 7″ size 13 needles for me!! They are based in Michigan, and their craftsmanship is beautiful! I Look at the turtles on the end :) super cute! They’re made of walnut and I wasn’t 100% sure how I’d like the hexagonal needles, and I felt like I was knitting with pencils the first day or 2, but OMGosh, they are perfect and I love them! They are the perfect size for these scarves, and Pam was great to work with!
**Share the Warmth is my charity knitting project for 2015. I’m trying to knit 52 scarves/projects to donate this year! Most get donated through my friend who coordinates the Helping Hands ministry at Church and brings them to the Lazarus House.

Beautiful needles! I’m feeling a little jealous on two fronts….those beautiful needles and also that you find the time to knit. I have a very long list of unfinished projects and a very short gallery of finished ones. ;-)

Beautiful needles, and lovely coloured wool. What a fabulous and generous project.
