Every year I try to make a little something “crafty” for the teachers at the kids’ school (links to previous gifts below)… As a teacher myself, I know how hard they work, and I like to share a token of our appreciation. I always chip in on the big class teacher gift… But that doesn’t cover the specialist teachers who work very hard too (says the music teacher :) ).
This year, everywhere you look, mason jars are “the thing” :) So, I found a cute printable tag (free printable here) and personalized it, cut it out, mounted on watermelon colored card stock and attached to these little 8oz mason jars that I topped with cut daisy lids and cute red/white paper straws. I filled them with some packaged drink mixes and some candies and the kids delivered them to school! That’s 24 adorable little gifts, just to show how much I love the teachers at the school!
Happy Summer!!!

What a very sweet, and sugary, treat/gift! Where ever did you find, and buy, your Mason Jars? I especially Love the Lids and I have never seen any like that before (with the decorative openings for a straw). How lovingly green are you! I use Mason Jars all the time, to jar all our Jams, Fruits, and Veggies (but I haven’t come across those sweet Lids). Oh and the Straws are so perfect, too. Happy Summer!
