Well… I guess technically, it’s “Happy Day After Valentine’s Day” but I wanted to share the little projects I made with the kids for their classes… I had an idea in my head, and was looking for measurements for a pencil holder for the kids to give to their classes… Here’s the post I found to make an adorable little holder that holds 3 pencils… (not at all what I was looking for, but HAD to make it when I saw it…) Be Creative With Nicole
I cut and scored all of the papers (Kathryn wanted white, Sean wanted kraft), then let them pick a Valentine stamp to use (Many thanks to Ryan for the use of her big binder-o-stamps!!) Now, Sean picks a couple of simple stamps that he stamped using cranberry colored ink… Kathryn, I didn’t realize, chose her stamp (be mine, or else… perfect for her personality!!) and was planning to color them in… Had I know that, I would have had her stamp with black ink… oh well!! They are still cute I think :) I will just mention, that it took longer than I thought to cut and score 20 for each of the kids… now, who’s lame-brained idea was it to MAKE Valentine’s Day cards?? oh, right… mine… :) Love to make stuff :)
Here’s Sean’s
and here’s Kathryn’s
While they were stamping… I made some cards for their teachers… I used the same idea as the card club cards I made last month… But pulled out some vintage Scenic Route paper (man, I still miss Scenic Route!!) and Kraft cardstock… and filled them with yummy chocolate squares…
