I like to have a stash of ready to go cards… That way, when I realize that I am about to miss someone's birthday, or I need a quick congratulations, or feel better card, then I have something I can use right away! There isn't a sentiment on the card yet, 'cause I'm not sure where it's going to go :) The pretty flowers are cut out of beautiful American Crafts patterned papers, and then I used a quick scallop punch and a couple of gems :)

Email… Should I Check Again??
I've been obsessively checking my email… Hoping to get one from a certain manufacturer that I'd love to create for… I'm positive at this point that they've already contacted their new designers, but until they're posted I can play the "what if" game in my head :) So, as I'm obsessively checking my emails again, I get one from Zutter advertising a sale on their FAB Cover Alls… I LOVE Cover Alls :) Anyway, I'm scanning through the email, and WOW! HEY!! That's MY project that they have included as an example :) I so loved my time on the Zutter Design Team, and am thrilled to be able to still create the occasional project for them… Having my project included in their promotional email just made my day… And made the obsessive email checking worth it :) Here's a pic of the project that they used :)
Post this :)
I love making little post it note holders! They make a fun and easy gift for almost any occasion… Here's my latest! I used 2 coasters, the Zutter owires (I think they're 3/4") and fun Bo Bunny papers that I've been holding on to for a while… I added a couple of ribbon scraps… The tree and alpha are QuicKutz Reuse
Upcoming Class at Ink About It
I'm so excited about this month's Zutter Class!!! There's still space if you want to join in the fun :) Just call the store and let them know!! Check out their website for more information www.inkaboutitonline.com The class is from 6:30-8:30 on August 12, and when you leave class your book will be complete with the exception of photos and journaling!!! I was inspired to make this book when I saw the new 7gypsies envelope books (which, of course, I had to buy 'cause I have a "mini book problem" :) But I thought to myself, I could make that!! And that's what I did… There's 6×6 Chipboard Wood covers by Zutter, 6×9 manilla envelopes (cut down, I used both parts) and fab papers by Girls' Paperie… Here's just a couple of photos of the album :)
Inside each little envelope pocket is a journal card like these… Plus there's extra journal sections as needed
