I just used this BEAUTIFUL paper line for the next Zutter Class that will be held at Ink About It in Westford… (I'll share the pics of that project in just a couple days… I was looking at the CI blog and website and found their June sketch challenge, and just knew instantly exactly what I wanted to do…

Here is the sketch…

And, here was my interpretation… I used the beautiful Christine Adolph Tidepool collection, I cut some of the seashells from one of the patterned papers to use as accents, and used the other papers for mats etc… I also added some actual crushed seashells as an accent…

I find it VERY hard to believe that my little man is now 9 years old!!! We went out this morning and got his "Lego Harry Potter" game for the DS which was released today :) Perfect timing!!! Well, as a little trip down memory lane… here's a few photos that I scanned (from the pre-digital era)

One of my very favorite photos of Sean… about 1 month old with my sister… He was CHUNKY :) Don't you just want to pinch those cheeks??

Then in November with my Gram… Sean was about 5 months old, and I think weighed more than Gram did :) (man, I need to clean the scanner bed… there's some fuzz on there that I know isn't on the photo)

Then a couple of my favorite 1 year old photos… just 'cause he's so darn cute :) and his little Michelan Man rolls had rolls of their own :)

And, now here he is today… a pic from Pack Monadnock a couple weeks ago… No more Michelan Man, but I still like to pinch his cheeks just for fun :)

June Crop Shop Projects!

I am so honored to have been chosen to be a part of The Crop Shop's Design Team!! It's quite a little ride to get there, but well worth the trip :) Here are the projects that I completed for June…

Using the FABULOUS American Craft summer papers and elements, I created these 2 layouts and card… There may be a couple more cards coming, I still have a pile of scraps to use up… These 2 layouts will be a class at the store a little later in the summer :)

Summer Lovin' 12×12 Layout using American Crafts Patterned Papers (I cut the titles from a patterned paper) American Crafts Cardstock, and the adorable little Crab is also American Crafts :)

This layout was also created using American Crafts Patterned Papers, Cardstock, and the title cut from the same paper as the above titles…

And then this adorable card:

In my package I also got a big stack of Basic Grey Patterned Papers, and the Chipboard Shapes from the Cappella, I made this Father's Day album using the Maya Road Chipboard TShirt Album and those pretty papers… The Alphabet on the front is QuicKutz Diesel.

I made a matching card…

Then this layout, featuring a few photos from Sean's First Communion…

Birthday Boy

What's that?? 2 posts in 2 days?? Ahhhh… Summer Vacation!!! I figured with Sean's 9th birthday coming up next week, I had better get something done from his 8th birthday!! So, here's a little mini book I made using a tab book (it was supposed to use rings, but of course, I had to use my Zutter instead)… The patterned papers are Little Yellow Bicycle… Hmm… off the top of my head, I believe that the QuicKutz are "Sean" is Relax, "@" is Vixen, "8" is MaryJane, "Cake, Gifts, Fun, and Day" (on the tabs) are Rollerskate…

Summer Fun!

This little book is going to get filled in throughout the summer… There's pull out tags, paper bags, and pocket pages for memorabilia, plus photo mats and plenty of space for journaling :) The patterned papers are AC, Dear Lizzy, Zutter 8×8 white chipbard covers, and 1.25" owires. The "summer" title is QuicKutz Vixen, and the "fun" is QuicKutz Katie mini… Had so much fun putting this together, and now I'm on vacation, so will be filling it in pretty quick!!

It's hard to see in the photo below, but the right side page is a pocket… I scored a piece of 12×12 white cardstock at 7.5 and then folded it up… then scored again in half, and decorated the bottom half… makes a great little pocket for anything I want to add!
