That's right… We've had no power since Friday morning… now its Sunday!!! The ice storm is long gone, BUT there's still no electricity anywhere in our neighborhood… I had school on Friday, but thankfully Mike had the forethought to call around and find a generator (a 2-hour ride, each way, but at least he found one) because it's pretty darn cold here :) We hardly ever lose power, I can't remember in the 8 years we've been in the huse when we've lost power for more than an hour or 2… the generator is big enough to use the heat and a few other circuts, so at least the pipes (and us) aren't freezing!!! We're hanging out, trying to keep the house warm, and taking the "down time" to put up some decorations… Tree is up, and we'll decorate it this afternoon, and I have a few other things out too… At least we're not alone, there's 28,500 homes without power in our county, and 18,000 homes without in the next county over (the next county is about 6 houses away from us :) ). So, at least we're in good company :) We keep thinking it will be on "any time now" but so far, no luck :)
