Baby Fever

December 3, 2008 By JulieK

Not for us :) But for Mike's cousin Kimmy!! We couldn't be more excited for Kimmy and Blue and the little peanut!!! The baby shower was last weekend, and here's what I made…

A Matching gift bag and card, made with some wonderful Heidi Grace papers and cardstock stickers, the QK font is one of my favorites, Maggie Mini :) and a little bit of Bazzill Cardstock.

And… Paper Crafts are not all I can do :) I crocheted this wonderfully soft blankie to go with in the bag… It was a new pattern, but worked up pretty quickly, I just LOVE how it came out! I've just recently made another blankie for a friend who's also due about the same time, and I'm on scarf number 6 (it's going to be a handmade Christmas for many people this year!!)

Thanks Claire!! I sent you an email, but also wanted to post here… The pattern is from the Nov/Dec issue of “Crochet Today” magazine… It was on page 94, and I think you can find the patterns on their website, but I’m not sure… There were several patterns that I used from that particular magazine… but this blanket was my favorite!!!
