Been too long!

Boy, it’s been too long since I have updated my blog!!! I’ve taken a mini-vacation from designing, only because we’ve been so busy around here!! I do have a new kit and challenge coming up for May 1, so don’t forget to check back!!

In the mean time, I’ve been putting together a gallery of sorts to act as a resume… It’s here: www.juliek.typepad.com/gallery some of my newest projects are there… Including the Maya Road house and mini-album that I’ll be teaching on May 18… It was SUCH a fun project to make, I hope you like it!! The class is at my LSS, I just lvoe the store, and can’t wait to teach this one!!!

Maya Road House and Album

I just LOVE this maya road house… and take a peek at the album that I made to go inside… a “Year in Review” for 2007, with one picture for every month!! I used lots of FABULOUS QK, including the calendar set (which I used in relief, backed by a transparency to hold the inside of the letters like a and e…) Merry alphabet (from Merry and Bright) and that adorable butterfly!!

Here’s a couple sneak peeks… I’m teaching it as a class at the LSS!!!

Here’s 2 fairly recent layouts… The first, using Rusty Pickle paper, Bazzill Cardstock, and some of my new FABULOUS pirate QK dies!! How much fun are they?? I have lots of pirate themed layouts to do, and now lots of new pirate-y dies to accent them with!!

And… How handsome is my boy with his first lost tooth?? Super cute I think… I used some Love, Elsie papers, Bazzill cardstock, and Lemonade, Bright, and Merry QK alphabets :)

Creative Imaginations

Love the Creative Cafe stuff!! This fun wall hanging was made using a Maya Road Chipboard album, Maya Road chipboard people (covered with fun CI papers) and CI papers, tags, and cardstock stickers from their Creative Cafe (LOVE my LSS, The Scrapbooker’s Dream, Laurie, the owner is totally FABULOUS!!) Getting a pic of this was kinda difficult… I may try again, but here’s the basic look :)
