Well… Hall of Fame is over… And my phone was strangely silent :)  I was just looking over my layouts, and resizing them so that I can submit them everywhere I can :)  And you know what???? I still love every one of them just as much as when I made them!!  Something to keep in mind when submitting to such a huge contest.  Even if your chances are 1 in 7 that you will get a call, that means that your chances are 6 in 7 that you WON’T get a call… Nothing to be sad about!!  When you think about it… CK recieved 5500 layouts (with the 550 entrants).  That means that my 10 layouts would have had to have stood out among the other 5490 layouts that they looked at.  Odds like that really make you think sanely about not getting the call :) I honestly can’t wait to see what all of the winners (HOF and HM) created, and the book will be totally fabulous!!!!!  Congrats to all the winners!!!!!!

HOF calls are going out… and it’s just crazy over at 2peas!!!  It looks like 18 people have posted, it’s quite possible that they are done, and the rest of the people either don’t frequent the boards, or they aren’t home etc…  I hope that either way, they let everyone know that calls are done… Maybe then I can stop obsessing about the phone ringing!!  I’ve gotten 5 calls tonight… none from an 801 area code!!!  There’s HM calls to do too!! Hopefully tomorrow!!!  I can’t wait to see the list and see if anyone I "know" is on it!!! Of course, I’m still holding out some hope that my call is coming, but if not I want to submit those layouts everywhere!!!! 

With all the waiting for the super exciting HOF calls that will be starting on Monday… I needed a little something to do to keep my mind off the "call"  So while scanning the CK message boards for any clues about HOF, I found a super fun contest!! Every month they choose 6 people to send the cover photo to, and they all do layouts and choose one for the actual cover. So, the posted the February picture, and challenged everyone to create a layout with it and submit it!!  Here’s what I made… Digital papers and elements by SaraAmarie at Oscraps… Once the contest is over I will replace the photo with one of Kathryn and change the name… I really love how it came out!!!!

OMGosh!! I’m soooo excited!!! I just got an email from Memory Makers books with a request for a layout that they want to use in the upcoming 601 Great Scrapbook Ideas book!!!! It’s my first Memory Makers request!!!! Yeah!!!!  I’m so excited!!!!!
