am so excited to be a part of Keely Simpson’s layered templates creative team!!! In the last few days she needed a bunch of layouts for use as examples… and I’ve been a scrapping maniac :) I love the templates!!! What fun!!!!! Here’s what I’ve done in the last couple days…… Here’s my 8.5×11 samples

Here’s one I just finished using Jessica Bolton’s totally AWESOME "Unamused Boys" kit….. the journaling is on "pull-out" tags…. (gotta love layers!!) and reads: I love this picture! It isn’t at all what it seems!!! It looks like you’re having a tantrum but that’s not it!! You’re having a blast sitting in the sand dunking your head! Fun!
OMGosh! I forget how tiring the first day of school is!!! I’m totally wiped!! It was a good day though… and when I got home, I finished up my Divine Digital last scrapper standing submission for this week, and I’m so happy with it!!!! I just love the LO, and it was a fun challenge… I have a ton of stuff that I need to do dor DT’s and I’m just exhausted!!! I also have some submissions that I’d love to do soon…. All I really want to do is go to bed!!!
Well, the first teacher day was a success! I’ve got all the guitars tuned (well the ones that are tuneable… Have a few that need to be re-strung, hopefully the strings will come soon!) and have everything ready for the "cherubs" tomorrow… Whew!!! I’m actually psyched to be starting back!!!!
How is it possible that summer vacation is over??? How on earth will I get up at 5:15 if I can’t sleep????? That’s the REAL question!!! We had such a fun summer, but I’m actually looking forward to going back to school for the first time in 2 years!! A whole new world… Whole new room, and whole new set of issues!!! Whew… No wonder I can’t sleep!! Oh well… better try again, ’cause I have to re-string and tune 24 guitars, and get some plans written tomorrow, along with all the meetings we have scheduled…. I’m gonna need a little beauty sleep :)
Sean is so excited for kindergarten, and I’m excited for him… But I try not to think about it too much… How is he getting so big??? Of course, just when I think he’s getting so big, he does something so child-like… We were at band camp, and he had to go to the bathroom (during dinner, of course!!) So, I take him out of the dining hall, and bring him to the bathroom… He went, and as he flushed, he looked at me and said "Mama, do you think that the potty thinks it’s yummy???" I said "What honey" and he repeated…. "Does the potty think that the poops are yummy??" "hmm… I don’t know honey… maybe…." and he said… "I think it does" Ok…. maybe it does… Honestly… how do you answer something like that!!!! He’s so darn cute!!!!
