Yup… We’re leaving tomorrow for vacation… I NEED to get stuff done around here so that I can be ready… Gotta go shopping, drop the kitty off at the "Cat Whiskers Inn" with Lynda… She is so wonderful!! Oscar didn’t want to come home the last time he was there!! I’m waiting and have my fingers crossed to hear about Deb F’s creative team…. Her stuff is so awesome… being on her team would be so great!! I think that the announcement is supposed to be made tomorrow, and probably the people who are "it" already know, but until they make the announcement, I still have hope :) I better get off the computer and get started on the list….

First day of vacation!!
That’s right!!! Whoo Hooo!!! My first day of summer vacation!!!! Yeah!!!! The list of things I need to get done today is HUGE, but I’m so psyched!! It’s the kids last day of daycare and pre-school, so I have this morning to myself to run errands and get stuff done!!!! Maybe have a little time to scrap today too!!! Or maybe start moving my stuff into Kathryn’s room and start that switch…. Might be too ambitious for today, but we’ll see!!! Off to start my list :)
Here’s one I finished last night… I used Laura Burger’s "Pure Sunshine" kit, available at www.scrapmommies.com
WOW!
Oh Boy!!!! I am so excited!!! This weekend I was asked to be on 2 more digi creative teams!! Laura Burger, and Deena Hagan!!! Wow, Wow, Wow!!!!! I am so very excited!!! I should have a couple new kits coming in next couple days… WhooWeee!!!! I can’t wait to get them and get started scrapping!!!!
The STRANGEST thing
Ok, seriously…. The people across the street from us put up a tent in their front yard… Not any tent, a HUGE tent, and have been having parties every night this week…. then today some friends stopped by, and as they were leaving my friend Michael said that the wedding band had arrived…. well, we looked out, and there was a bunch of people, with band instruments (trumpets, tubas, saxes, drums, clarinets) getting out of their cars… in little unigorms and everything…. they set up in the street and made a little parade, from the corner to their driveway, and proceeded to play for about 30 minutes…. Seriously, one of the most surreal things I’ve ever seen!!!!! They even had a color guard, with American and Polish flags… VERY STRANGE… but I took the kids outside and sat on the front steps and watched :)
