I was kinda dreading the rehearsal and dinner tonight for my friend’s wedding… I had to go by myself, DH was going to pick up our "new" car…. a 60-something (can’t remember the exact year….) Mustang convertable!! OMG that thing ROCKS!!! And I didn’t even get to ride in it yet….. But that’s another story! I did have a lot of fun at the rehearsal and dinner… the groom is one of my best friends from college, and I hardly know the bride, and I am honored that they asked me to be a part of their wedding… Which is tomorrow!! My only complaint…. 37 year olds were not made to wear spaghetti straps!!! Oh well :) It will be fun!!!

Very little scrapping done today… I did the finishing touches on my MMM Themed layout, and did a lot on one of the other entries… SO… I am hoping to get them all done this weekend…..

Wow!! I am so excited!! I got an email from Scrapbookresumes.com today saying that they want to use one of my photos on their homepage!!! Wow, wow, wow!!! It is seriously one of my most favorite photos I’ve ever taken, of Kathryn on the swing… I submitted it a while ago, and am just so tickled that they want to use it!!!! Yippee!!!!

I just realized that one of the layouts that I thought I was saving for MMM…. I submitted it to CK for something else…. Darn it!!!! I must have just done my normal, finish it, then submit it….. without even thinking…. Darn…. Oh well…. I have 2 completely done and saved… I have the "themed" layout almost done, and another started, but I am thinking that 2 of them are kinda similar… so I may need to do another incase….  I was counting on that other one, one of my all time favorites….. *sigh*

And Kathryn fell off the counter today, flat on her cheek on the tile floor…. scared me to death…. poor baby bit the side of her cheek, and I think she’s gonna have a whopper of a bruise, but I think she’s OK… she’s acting normal, her eyes look fine, she’s her normal 2-year old fresh self…. but I’m still freaking out inside…. I was standing right there too, trying to make a sandwich …. Makes me feel like such a bad mother…. No "Mother of the Year" for me….

I’m typing this from my NEW LAPTOP!! Whoo!!!! Trying to get everything installed, and ready to go… My old Vaio worked fine, but I broke the power cord (right where it connects inside the computer itself) and had to hold it a certain way to get it to charge…. besides the fact that I didn’t have enough space on the HD to do ANYTHING… So, I’m working on getting everything set up today so that I can turn off the old one :) Yeah!! 

On a scrappy note… I finally got an idea for the themed layout for MMM, and I chose the kit and colors that I’ll work with, and started the journaling… Yeah! I was kinda stumped for an idea until I was looking through some of the new pics from our vacation last night… It kinda just hit me!! So, now I only have 2 more layouts to do, the themed one, and one more…. Then print and send :) I think I’ve decided to take the plunge and go all digi for it… I’m just not in the mood to take out all the supplies… and I have this cool new computer to work with…. :) Off to set up a few more things!!

Wow!! What a wonderful vacation we had!!!! We stayed at a wonderful little cottage right on the lake with a wonderful private beach… The kids had a wonderful time playing in the water, we had so much fun on the boat…. And took a couple trips up to the mountains too!! So much fun!!! The only drawback was there DH’s PCS internet card couldn’t get service… a week without internet is a killer :)
