I always have so much fun linking and visiting crafty blogs at the link parties that I post on every week, that I wanted to start a link party of my own!! Welcome to We Share Wednesdays!! Every Wednesday I’ll put up a link party and you can share your crafty, sewing, cooking and DIY projects with everyone!! Starting next week, I’ll also feature a few of my favorite links…
There will only be a few “rules” for everyone…
- Please only link up to projects that you’ve made, and link directly to the post, not just to your homepage.
- Please visit at least 2 other links. We all love to have our projects seen, that’s why we link them up!
- Please follow me on Twitter, Pinterest and/or
Happy for You Card @ Scrapbook News and Review
I’m so happy to have my premier project over on the blog at Scrapbook News and Review!! I was thrilled when I got the email inviting me to be a part of their Front Page and Blog staff, and this is one of the first projects I made. The feature is the Friday Color Palette and Sketches, I hope you’ll go over to the blog and see all the wonderful projects that are posted everyday!!
Check out my card based on the July 27th Color Palette!
When I saw the color palette, I immediately thought of a Creative Memories paper pack that I had, I pulled it out and cut 1 inch strips and placed them on the diagonal. Then I pulled out my {favorite} The Stamps of Life stamps and found one that would fit perfectly!! The Twinery twine added the perfect final touch. Come over to Scrapbook News and Review and check out all the fabulous projects posted!
Newest Stamps from The Stamps of Life
Ok, I KNOW that I’ve mentioned my LOVE of these stamps before… HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE… I met Stephanie Barnard at CKC Manchester this spring, and she has to be one of the nicest people I met that day!! And… (Cool) SHE left a comment on my blog last week!! How fantastic must it be to be a part of her design team? I hope she has an open call sometime soon, I’d love to apply… Anyway, the stamps give a fabulous impression on the first outing (no having to use the “eraser trick” on these beautiful stamps!!). I joined the club, so every month a new fabulous stamp arrives at my doorstep!! And last week the new one came! Check out this cute card I made (’cause it was so cute, I had to make a card the same day it arrived!!) The stamp set is called crayons2stamp and is really versatile…

The inside color, the crayon outline, the word crayon and the “hi” are all separate stamps, there’s also a ton of sentiments included and a heart and 2 flowers… It’s a fabulous set that I’m sure I’ll show you more projects with soon! And, you all know how much I adore the little turtle stamp from last month… Well, I couldn’t resist using him again… Aren’t they so cute? Those are perfect pearls “bubbles” added :)

Don’t forget, if you like the cards, feel free to pin them to Pinterest, all you have to do is click the little “Pin it” button under the images. Thanks so much for visiting today!
More Handmade Cards
I know I’ve mentioned my obsession with stamps… I’ll freely admit that I am mostly a stamp hoarder… I buy them because they are so cute, but until recently, I didn’t use them too much!! Well, enter the monthly Card Club that I co-teach at Late Night Croppers and you have the perfect “excuse” to actually USE the stamps that I
hoardbuy! Here are the 3 cards that I made for last month’s card club…
This first one uses two different stamp sets from The Stamps of Life
This adorable Popsicle stamp is also from The Stamps of Life
This last one uses a Technique Tuesday stamp
End of school kids’ gifts
Well, we all know that I have a “problem” and simply LOVE to make things!! Well, when I saw this idea on Pinterest I knew I was going to have to make something similar!! She offers a printable to use as a tag, but I couldn’t possibly use it :) Especially when last month’s stamp set from my “Stamps of Life” club membership featured ADORABLE Popsicles!! Here’s the stamp set (I am not an affiliate, just a club member, and I LOVE the stamps!!) So, I was able to find the swirly straws, and used the small single serving Kool Aid, and then stamped the tags (“only” 50 of them, for both kids’ classes!!) Here’s the tags I made…

The image is stamped in 3 parts… First I had the outline and the words stamped in black, then the sticks in brown and finally the super fun red “Popsicle!” I punched a hole in the corner, and tied them to the clear treat bags with red and white twine. Here’s one all done…I think they came out super cute! Don’t forget to click on the Pin it button if you want to share this on Pinterest!
