My Name’s Julie, and I’m a self-proclaimed Craft-a-holic!!! I just love to craft!! I’ve been making things for as long as I can remember…
My Great Aunt Glady taught me to crochet when I was 5, and I’ve had an obsession with making things ever since!! I started scrapbooking in the more modern sense when my son was born in 2001. Since then, I always have some kind of paper project going on! I live in Massachusetts with my husband of 10 years, our 2 children, one rescue kitty, and one very cute, but not-super-smart golden retriever 
By day, I’m a mild-mannered middle school music teacher, but in the evenings I’m a crafting maniac! I love my job, and the fact that it allows me so much time to spend with my kids. We travel quite a bit in the summertime, and I never lack for photos to use in projects! Besides making traditional layouts, I also LOVE to make mini-books (my favorite thing!!), cards and especially altered items!
I am very excited to be teaching at a local scrapbook store… Ink About It in Westford, MA. I also co-own a local scrapbook crop space www.latenightcroppers.com where you can find me most weekends crafting with friends!!!
My new banner and blog look were created using digital scrapbook elements and papers designed by the fabulous Traci Reed, and used with permission (and a commercial use licence). Traci is a wonderful designer, and when I contacted her to ask permission, she was wonderful to deal with!! The kit can be found here “Embrace the Everyday” and sold at The Sweet Shoppe. I created the banner and tags using PhotoShop Elements 9.
